Hearing Services/Audiology

We aim to eliminate or measurably reduce the incidence of communication disorders secondary to hearing loss. Services provided include hearing health promotion, as well as identification, assessment and rehabilitation of persons with hearing disorders. In order to ensure/promote early identification of infants with hearing impairments all newborns have the opportunity to have a hearing screening(BC Early Hearing Program-BCEHP) shortly after birth, to assist in the identification of individuals with hearing impairments as soon as possible.
